TITANIC

THE ARTIFACT EXHIBITION

Waypoint.

Titanic sailed in to my heart and my soul from the first moment I saw the deep sea footage of her in 1987.

I was 5 and she has never left me ever since.

In 1997, she changed my life forever - steering me directly into Costume Design.

Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with Costume Designer Deborah Scott

and many others who helped bring Titanic, her passengers, and her crew back to life for the film.

And Titanic continues to steam my life forward.  After years of visiting Titanic The Artifact Exhibition in Las Vegas and spending hours looking upon her recovered memories and the 15-ton piece of her beautiful hull,

I find myself at Titanic The Artifact Exhibition in Orlando where I am honored to be able to work for the Ship of My Dreams.

To sew the case covers that tuck the priceless artifacts in at night, design and sew costumes, and so much more that I have been blessed to be involved in, is truly a dream come true.

This is the result of my life-long love, passion, and respect that I have for Titanic, her passengers and crew,

and my admiration and fascination for her artifacts which tell so many stories of their own.

Even though we may no longer be able to actually hear the voices of her passenger’s and crew tell their stories,

I hope that through my work, I may be able to help breathe life into them so that we may continue to tell their stories on their behalf.  And in telling their stories, in some way, it keeps them alive so that their lives were not lost in vain.
